End Dump Truck Operator — Night Driver Class A CDL Required | Solid Waste Hauling | Waskom, TX Sunshine Oilfield Services is hiring an experienced Class A CDL End Dump Truck Operator to run a regional night route out of Waskom, hauling solid oilfield waste to permitted landfills and designated dump zones. There is no loading on this job — you hook to a loaded trailer, run the route, dump, and head back. Shifts typically run 10 to 12 hours per night on a consistent schedule. This is steady, full-time work with benefits for an operator who takes pride in running clean, staying safe, and getting the paperwork right the first time.

REQUIREMENT

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Haul solid oilfield waste from the Waskom yard to permitted landfills and designated dump zones — no loading involved; hook to a loaded trailer, run the route, and dump. Safely operate your assigned end dump unit in compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations and Company policy. Verify load weight, tarping, and securement before pulling off the yard to stay within legal limits. Position the unit on stable, level ground and verify overhead clearance before raising the bed; check behind and above the unit before dumping. Follow each disposal facility's check-in, dumping, and ticket requirements, and complete waste manifests and disposal tickets accurately and completely. Complete and turn in pre-trip and post-trip inspections, JSAs, BBOs, near-miss and accident reports, and field tickets every shift. Report fatigue, equipment defects, or road conditions that affect safe operation. Keep the Supervisor informed on route status, loads hauled, and any facility delays or refusals. Work with the shop mechanics to keep your equipment maintained, legal, and fueled at the end of each shift. Participate in and help enforce the Company safety program.

WHAT YOU NEED

Valid Class A commercial driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record. Minimum six (6) months of oilfield experience. Availability to work nights on a consistent schedule, including some weekend work as operational needs require. Ability to pass a Company-administered driving test. Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and maintain a current medical examiner's certificate. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and post-offer physical examination; subject to random drug and alcohol testing consistent with Company policy and DOT regulations. High school diploma or GED preferred; basic reading, writing, and math skills required. Authorization to work in the United States.

A plus:

prior end dump or belly dump experience, waste hauling or landfill/disposal site experience, night driving experience, and familiarity with East Texas and Northwest Louisiana routes.

WHAT IT TAKES PHYSICALLY

This is medium work performed outdoors in all weather. Expect extended periods behind the wheel of a commercial motor vehicle, climbing in and out of the cab and onto the unit, walking on uneven ground at yards and disposal sites, tarping and untarping loads, and exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force on a recurring basis and 50 to 100 pounds on an occasional basis. The position requires normal visual acuity and field of vision for night driving, along with normal hearing, speaking, and depth perception. Required PPE — steel-toe boots, flame-resistant clothing (FRC), safety glasses, hard hat, and gloves — is provided by the Company at no cost to the employee.

SAFETY-SENSITIVE POSITION

This position is designated as safety-sensitive. The employee performs duties affecting the safety of the employee, coworkers, and the public, including operation of a commercial motor vehicle and work on and around end dump trucks, oilfield waste, and disposal site equipment.
