This position plays a critical role in keeping our excavation, asphalt, concrete, and maintenance crews operating efficiently and on schedule. Responsibilities Safely transport heavy equipment, construction materials, and support vehicles to and from job sites. Load, secure, transport, and unload equipment in compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks, trailers, and equipment. Maintain accurate driver logs, inspection reports, and required documentation. Coordinate with project managers, foremen, and dispatch personnel regarding delivery schedules and equipment needs. Perform routine maintenance checks and report mechanical issues promptly. Assist with equipment operation and job site support when needed. Ensure all loads are properly secured and transported safely. Qualifications Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record. Experience hauling heavy equipment, construction machinery, or oversized loads preferred. Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe transportation practices. Ability to operate and load various types of construction equipment. Strong attention to safety and detail. Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime as project demands require. Must pass pre-employment drug screening and comply with company safety policies. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to climb on and off trucks, trailers, and equipment.
