Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Driver to join our logistics team! As a Driver, you will be the vital link in ensuring timely and safe delivery of freight across various routes. Your role is essential in maintaining the flow of goods, adhering to safety regulations, and providing excellent service to our clients. Duties Safely operate a variety of commercial vehicles including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and refrigerated trailers across over-the-road (OTR) routes. Plan and follow efficient routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries and pickups. Load and unload freight with proper manual handling techniques, ensuring cargo integrity and safety compliance. Comply with all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), DOT (Department of Transportation), hazardous materials regulations (Hazmat), and other safety standards during transportation and cargo handling. Transport hazardous or dangerous goods following strict safety protocols for hazardous materials regulations. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle inspections, cargo documentation, and delivery records in accordance with regulatory requirements. Perform routine vehicle inspections, report maintenance issues promptly, and ensure trucks are clean and well-maintained for optimal performance. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle operated. Proven experience in commercial truck driving, delivery driving, or freight transportation. Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbed trucks, tanker trucks, or tractor-trailers preferred. Knowledge of route driving best practices using GPS navigation tools. Ability to handle manual transmission vehicles confidently. Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT standards, and hazardous materials regulations. Excellent manual handling skills for loading/unloading freight safely and efficiently. Experience with logistics cargo handling and truck loading/unloading procedures. Good communication skills for coordinating deliveries and maintaining safety compliance on the road. $25.06 - $30.18 per hour
