We are part of the Heglar Creek Farms group of businesses, a 5th-generation family-owned and operated agricultural enterprise. Position Summary:

This seasonal position involves driving a Class A CDL truck to deliver sod and other materials within the Salt Lake City area and surrounding regions. The driving season typically runs thru November.

Responsibilities:

Safely and efficiently operate a Class A commercial vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety regulations. Perform local deliveries and pickups within designated routes. Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo. Maintain accurate driving logs and other required documentation. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly. Provide excellent customer service to clients and vendors. Assist with general yard maintenance and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Valid and current Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record. Prior experience as a Class A CDL Truck Driver preferred. Strong safety awareness and a commitment to safe driving practices. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Physical ability to perform tasks that may involve lifting and carrying materials. Availability to work a flexible schedule.
