As a Driver for Sierra Forest Products, you will have the opportunity to expand your skillset and enhance our customer experience. If you are passionate about making a difference, impacting driver operations efficiencies, partnering with our warehouse teams, and ensuring products are distributed safely - this opportunity may be the right fit for you.Your Role & Impact:
Operate a tractor trailer; potentially straight truck as needed. Ongoing and continuous learning and development; including forklift certification. Comply with applicable legislation including safety operation, carriage of goods, driver's hours, occupational health and safety, and applicable traffic laws. Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspection to ensure mechanical, safety and emergency equipment meets our rigorous safety standards. Maintain daily logs, inspection logs and other necessary driver compliance documentation. Fill reports such as Driver logs, inspection reports (pre-trip, enroute, post-trip), maintenance and repair reports, and incident reports. Perform all aspects of truck and trailer load securement. Physically capable of opening and closing curtains on the trailer. Safely load and unload premium quality wood products for our customers. May be required to operate a forklift and/or Moffett. Safely lift material up to 75 pounds. Provide excellent customer experience. Other duties as assigned.What Makes You Stand Out:
