Class A CDL OTR Driver

Overview Driver wanted to haul reefer / dry van loads from UT to AZ to UT 1 trip every 4 days, or you could run 48 states, pays .60 per mile, $30 per stop plus detention after 2 hours. No smoking, no pets. Must have 3 years OTR driving, must have class A CDL, No tickets and no accidents previous 3 years. Benefits after 60 days, must be reliable. Duties Safely operate Class A commercial tractor-trailers across regional and national routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Drive a variety of trucks including manual transmission units, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other freight carriers. Load and unload freight efficiently using forklifts or manual methods while ensuring cargo integrity and safety standards are maintained. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking brakes, tires, lights, and securing loads properly. Manage route driving logistics to ensure timely deliveries while optimizing fuel efficiency and compliance with hours-of-service regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery schedules, route adjustments, or vehicle issues. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery documentation, inspection reports, and incident reports as required by federal regulations. Experience Proven experience in truck driving with a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Demonstrated ability to operate manual transmission trucks comfortably and safely. Prior experience handling refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or specialized freight such as roll-off or dump trucks is highly desirable. Delivery driver experience involving freight load & unload procedures using forklifts or manual methods. Familiarity with route driving across long distances with a focus on safety and efficiency. Knowledge of DOT regulations related to commercial driving and cargo securement standards. Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks independently. $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
