Duties:

• Primarily responsible for safe operation and maintainence of assigned equipment.
• Load and unload materials or equipment
• Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks such as checking oil levels, tire pressure, and brakes as well as reporting defects
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the truck
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts, logbooks, and mileage

Skills:

• Valid class A driver's license with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
• Proven experience as a fuel delivery truck driver or similar role working with HAZMAT
• Ability to operate heavy equipment: ability to operate both automatic and 18 speed transmission.
• Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries
• Good communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues
