Job Description
Overview We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to navigate diverse routes effectively. The Delivery Driver will operate various types of vehicles, including dump trucks, flatbeds, and refrigerated trailers, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining the highest standards of quality. Duties Safely operate delivery vehicles. Navigate assigned routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating condition. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status. Handle any issues that arise during transportation, such as delays or vehicle malfunctions. Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring goods are delivered in excellent condition. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Experience in truck driving or route driving preferred; familiarity with manual transmission is a plus. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in completing delivery documentation. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members. Ability to work independently while managing time efficiently.
