Hire Up Staffing is seeking a reliable Non-CDL Delivery Driver for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Blacksburg, Virginia!
Pay:
$17-$20/hour depends on experience
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM or until work is completed We are looking for a dependable and safety-focused Non-CDL Delivery Driver to transport electrical materials to customers and branch locations throughout the area. Approximately 70% of the workday will be spent driving, with the remaining time focused on preparing orders, loading materials, and assisting with deliveries. The typical delivery area is up to approximately 150 miles round trip per day. Responsibilities Check, organize, and load materials onto the delivery vehicle Sort and pack customer orders for delivery Prepare shipping manifests and delivery documentation Safely operate a 20-foot box truck or flatbed Deliver electrical materials to customers and branch locations Unload materials at customer locations and place them where requested Pick up customer returns and unload returned materials Obtain required signatures or delivery confirmations Communicate with dispatch and management as needed Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections Report vehicle maintenance or delivery issues promptly Maintain accurate driving and delivery logs Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules Assist with route planning and prioritization Maintain a clean and organized vehicle Follow all applicable DOT regulations and company safety procedures Provide professional and courteous customer service Assist with general warehouse duties as needed Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience driving a 20-foot box truck? Valid Non-CDL driver's license Real ID driver's license required Clean driving record with no moving violations or license suspensions within the past year Must be able to pass a DOT physical Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Professional appearance and communication skills Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Ability to safely operate and maneuver a large delivery vehicle Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Interested?
