DBA IES Electrical, seeking full-time CDL 18-Wheeler Truck Driver in Chester, Virginia.

Job Summary Safely operate an 18-wheeler tractor-trailer in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. Transport goods to and from customer locations, distribution centers, or warehouses. Conduct thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle. Maintain accurate logs of working hours and vehicle service according to DOT and company standards. Secure cargo properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit. Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding scheduling, delays, and delivery updates. Follow assigned routes while adapting to traffic, weather, or road conditions. Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report mechancial issues promptly. Provide excellent customer service during pickups and deliveries. Ensure timely, accurate, and safe delivery of freight. Comply with all company and customer safety policies and procedures. Qualifications Valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL) 2-5 years CDL driver experience Ability to work overtime High level of punctuality and reliability performance Ability to lift to 50 lbs. Ability to follow company vehicle and safety procedures and policies Ability to pass drug/alcohol tests as required Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check and MVR check.
