Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver Laborer to join our team. This position involves operating commercial vehicles while also performing labor-intensive tasks. The ideal candidate will possess a valid CDL, demonstrate strong driving skills, and be comfortable working in various environments. This role is essential in ensuring the timely and efficient transportation of goods while maintaining high safety standards. Responsibilities Operate commercial vehicles in compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. Load and unload materials and products, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are safe and operational. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and deliveries as required by law. Assist with the maintenance of the vehicle, reporting any issues promptly. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road. Requirements Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required. Proven experience as a commercial driver or in a similar role is preferred. Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations related to commercial driving. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 pounds). Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines consistently. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients. A commitment to maintaining a clean driving record and adhering to company policies.
