Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable 26-Foot Box Truck Driver to join our dynamic delivery team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a 26-foot box truck to deliver goods efficiently and on time to various locations. Your energetic approach and commitment to safety will ensure smooth logistics operations, excellent customer service, and adherence to all traffic and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Responsibilities Safely operate a 26-foot box truck, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and DOT regulations during route driving and delivery Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while practicing safe lifting practices Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify maintenance needs or safety issues Deliver goods promptly to customers, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and proper handling of items during transit Assist with warehouse operations by loading, unloading, and moving materials as needed using manual transmission vehicles or equipment like pallet jacks Maintain detailed delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery records using mobile devices or other digital tools Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries professionally and ensuring a positive delivery experience Requirements Proven experience in commercial driving, delivery driving, or courier roles involving box trucks or van drivers Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; CDL (Commercial Driver's License) preferred but not mandatory depending on the vehicle size Experience operating manual transmission vehicles and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks Knowledge of warehouse operations, heavy lifting techniques, and safe manual handling practices Familiarity with route driving, adhering to traffic regulations, and DOT (Department of Transportation) compliance standards Ability to lift heavy loads safely and efficiently while following workplace weight handling guidelines Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude during deliveries Join our team as a 26-Foot Box Truck Driver if you're energetic, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to seamless logistics operations.
