Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver with the ability to drive manual transmission trucks as well as pull flatbeds. To ensure your qualifications meet our needs and expectations, a driving test will be required on site.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate tractor-trailers with variety of trucks, ensuring compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Load, unload, and transport variety of oversized and overweight loads, including equipment, machinery, and other large items ensuring cargo is secured properly for transit. Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, telehandlers, and front-end loaders. Navigate and execute routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems and following all traffic laws and regulations while driving to meet delivery schedules in a timely manner. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking for mechanical issues and ensuring all safety equipment is functional as well as routine maintenance checks on vehicles. Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, cargo details, and delivery documentation in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
Requirements:
Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record and prior driving experience Must pass a drug test Must be at least 21 years of age with flexibility to travel out of state on occasion Strong knowledge of commercial truck driving best practices, including truck loading/unloading and cargo handling procedures to ensure proper securement is compliant with safety standards. Familiarity in GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning and execution. Ability to handle manual transmission vehicles confidently and perform manual handling tasks safely. Familiarity with FMCSA regulations, DOT rules, and safety protocols for transport.
