Skilled Laborer / Off-Road Truck Driver Founded in 1978, Strittmatter Companies is a family-owned business specializing in site development, excavation, and demolition. We are currently seeking dependable Skilled Laborers to operate off-road trucks for immediate openings in Loudoun County, Virginia.
Applicants must:
Reside in Virginia. Have reliable personal transportation to and from the jobsite. Possess a clean driving record. Successfully complete the required badging process for government jobsites. Successfully pass a drug screening and background check. Qualifications Must be at least 21 years old. Clean driving record with no serious violations, including reckless driving, aggressive driving, or DUI. Ability to lift at least 50 pounds without assistance. Ability to bend, stretch, twist, and reach as required. Previous construction or mechanical experience is preferred. Willingness to work overtime and Saturdays as needed. Reliable, responsible, punctual, and dependable. Ability to work outdoors in varying temperatures and changing weather conditions. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Strong verbal, written, and listening skills. Ability to communicate professionally and work effectively in high-stress situations. Duties and Responsibilities Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Operate off-road trucks and other assigned equipment safely. Clean and prepare jobsites to eliminate potential hazards. Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment. Dig trenches, compact soil, and backfill excavated areas. Operate or assist with machinery and heavy equipment. Assist skilled tradespeople as needed. Perform general labor duties as directed by the Foreman.
