Job Summary As a Truck Driver, you will be the backbone of our logistics operations, ensuring that goods are delivered safely and efficiently across various routes. Your role will involve operating different types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and tankers & dump trailer while adhering to safety regulations and company policies. With your expertise in driving and commitment to exceptional service, you'll play a crucial part in our mission to deliver excellence. What you'll do Safely operate a variety of trucks including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and dump trucks. Load and unload freight efficiently while ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo. Navigate assigned routes with precision, making timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery schedules, and vehicle maintenance. Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes or any issues encountered. Utilize forklifts as needed for loading and unloading tasks. Collaborate with team members to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Basic qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle operated. Proven experience in truck driving with a strong understanding of route driving. Preferred qualifications Experience with manual transmission vehicles. Familiarity with operating refrigerated trailers and flatbed trucks. Previous delivery driver experience is highly desirable. Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations.
