Job Description

E.W. Wylie is seeking experienced Flatbed Truck Drivers to safely haul freight across regional and long-haul routes in North America. In this role, you will operate late-model flatbed equipment, handle load securement and tarping, and maintain accurate logs and inspections in compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations. Responsibilities Operate flatbed trucks safely on regional and long-haul routes across North America Secure, tarp, and protect loads in compliance with safety standards Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues Maintain accurate electronic logs and documentation per DOT and FMCSA regulations Follow assigned routes, schedules, and delivery deadlines Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and terminal staff Comply with all company safety policies and procedures Represent E. W. Wylie professionally at customer locations Required Skills Flatbed truck operation Load securement and tie-downs DOT and FMCSA regulations Trip planning and routing Electronic logbook (ELD) use Vehicle inspection and maintenance checks Safe driving in varied weather Time management and on-time delivery Cargo handling and tarping Basic mechanical troubleshooting
