Job Description
Line Driver (CDL Class A) (VA to NC, 12pm-8pm back daily)Prudential Overall Supply is seeking a safety-focused, dependable Line Driver (CDL Class A) to join our team. This role is responsible for transporting trailers between service centers and designated locations while ensuring safe, timely, and efficient deliveries.

This is a full-time, year-round position (NOT seasonal) with opportunities for growth into leadership and management.
Key ResponsibilitiesSafely operate tractor-trailer combinations to transport trailers between service centers and turn-point locationsLoad and unload freight efficiently using approved freight handling equipmentSecure cargo and maintain load integrityPerform required pre-trip and post-trip inspectionsCommunicate with dispatch and management regarding route updates, delays, hazards, and incidentsComplete drop-and-hook operations and adjust trailer configurations as neededMaintain compliance with all DOT, FMCSA, and state transportation regulationsFollow Company safety policies and vehicle accident reporting proceduresCarry valid CDL and medical certification while operating company vehiclesOperate safely and report to work well-rested and preparedComplete required paperwork and electronic logging documentationSupport additional transportation duties as neededQualificationsValid Class A CDLCurrent DOT Medical CardMust provide a clean MVR (dated within 30 days of application)Minimum 21 years of ageMinimum 3 years of verifiable Class 8 tractor driving experienceWorking knowledge of DOT Hours of Service regulationsExperience using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD)Forklift certified or ability to become certifiedAbility to read and follow directions in EnglishAbility to work outdoors in varying weather conditions including heat, cold, and occasional rainAbility to safely complete assigned routes and required documentationMust pass:
