Rapid Xchange is a family-owned propane cylinder exchange delivery company that services all sort of commercial and industrial businesses throughout the Southeast US and Texas and we are constantly growing! We are seeking a LOCAL seasonal delivery driver who can provide safe, reliable, prompt, and courteous delivery of propane cylinders to our customers during our busy winter months. If you are the ambitious, hard-working type that enjoys meeting new people every day and the challenges of a rapidly growing company then we would love to hear from you! Duties included Perform daily pre-trip on assigned vehicle. Perform all routed deliveries within company operations and safety policies. Rotate product in cabinets, as necessa Replace signage on cabinets, as necessary. Deposit any funds daily as received in the locally assigned bank branch. Load truck in evening at end of daily route. Perform depot deliveries as scheduled if assigned. Maintain hours of service log if required. Report inventory weekly to respective manager. Maintain overall order and cleanliness of assigned vehicle and depot. Communicate any unsafe work practices to your manager or Director of Safety. Communicate any customer concerns and/or delivery issues to your manager and the Customer Service team. Keep current all driver qualification documents. The ideal candidate will possess the following: HS Diploma or equivalent. CDL license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift approximately 40 pounds. Ability to work outside in varying weather/driving conditions. Excellent customer service skills. A desire to succeed in a team environment. Hazmat endorsement preferred but can be gained during training.
