Responsibilities Safely operate tow trucks, including flatbed and traditional models, to recover and transport vehicles of all sizes. Perform vehicle diagnostics and minor mechanical repairs to ensure proper functioning before towing. Secure vehicles following cargo securement protocols to prevent damage during transit. Conduct basic vehicle troubleshooting to identify issues that may affect towing or recovery operations. Load and unload vehicles with precision, ensuring safe vehicle loading onto tow trucks using proper techniques. Manage vehicle recovery towing operations efficiently while maintaining safety standards at all times. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients, explaining procedures, and addressing concerns professionally. Experience Proven experience in automotive diagnostics and minor mechanical repairs for vehicles, including trucks and cars. Valid commercial driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving commercial trucks and flatbed tow trucks preferred. Knowledge of automotive repair procedures, vehicle mechanics for truck drivers, and basic vehicle troubleshooting skills. Familiarity with cargo securement protocols and safe vehicle loading techniques. Strong conflict management skills to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively. Hands-on experience with vehicle recovery towing, car towing, and safe operation of tow truck equipment.
