Tow Truck / Container Truck Driver (4-Day Work Week) Rathe's Metal Recycling is a family-owned scrap metal and automotive recycling company in Colchester, VT. We are looking for a reliable, hard-working driver to operate a flatbed tow truck and container truck.

CDL CLASS B REQUIRED!

This is a hands-on, local driving position with variety—no long-haul work, home every night.

Pay:

$25

•30/hour depending on experience

Schedule:

Tuesday-Friday, 8:00 AM

•5:00 PM 4-day work week (36 hours)

Responsibilities:

Operate flatbed tow truck and container (roll-off/dumpster) truck Pick up vehicles, scrap, and containers from customers and job sites Perform basic equipment checks and routine maintenance Interact with customers in a professional and helpful manner Maintain safe, clean, and efficient operation of all equipment

Qualifications:

Valid driver's license (CDL Class B required) Ability to safely operate medium-duty trucks Clean driving record Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors Mechanically inclined / basic equipment knowledge preferred Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Why work with us: 4-day work week Paid Time Off Local routes
