Job Description

Job Overview:
Vermont Wholesale Tire is seeking a dedicated and reliable Wholesale Driver to join our team. This role is critical to ensuring our customers receive timely deliveries of wholesale tires and maintaining the efficiency of our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a company vehicle to deliver wholesale tires to various customers daily. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of tires, providing excellent customer service at each stop. Verify delivery information and obtain necessary signatures and documentation. Maintain the cleanliness and maintenance of the delivery vehicle, reporting any issues to management. Assist in loading and unloading tires from delivery trucks and other vehicles. Assist with organizing tires in the warehouse in a safe and efficient manner. Perform light facilities upkeep tasks, such as sweeping, organizing, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment. No CDL required, but will drive both pickup and occasional non-CDL box truck.
Qualifications:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift and move heavy tires up to 80 lbs regularly. (with or without reasonable accommodation) Experience driving pickup trucks and backing up vehicles. Previous experience in delivery driving and/or warehouse operations is preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
