Delivery Driver Baker Lumber Inc. - White River Junction, VT Join One of Vermont's Leading Hardwood Lumber Suppliers Baker Lumber Inc. is a family-owned lumberyard serving contractors, cabinet shops, furniture makers, builders, and homeowners throughout Vermont and New Hampshire. We are looking for a dependable, customer-focused Full-Time Delivery Driver to join our team. This position is more than just driving a truck—you'll be the face of our company, delivering quality products and outstanding service to our customers every day. What You'll Do As a Delivery Driver, your responsibilities will include: Safely deliver lumber, plywood, millwork, and woodworking supplies to residential and commercial job sites Load and unload materials while ensuring orders are complete and secure Verify deliveries with customers and obtain signatures when required Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns Keep company trucks clean, organized, and in excellent condition Work closely with the yard staff to load trucks efficiently Assist with loading customer vehicles when not making deliveries Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized lumberyard Represent Baker Lumber with professionalism and excellent customer service What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: Dependable and punctual Friendly and professional with customers Safety-minded Organized and detail-oriented Able to work independently A team player willing to help wherever needed Qualifications Valid driver's license with a good driving record (required) DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one Experience driving flatbed, box trucks, or delivery trucks preferred Ability to lift 75+ pounds repeatedly Comfortable working outdoors in all seasons Previous lumberyard, construction, building materials, or delivery experience is a plus but not required Why Join Baker Lumber?
