Overview:
Bellingham Millwork Supply (BMS) is looking to hire a CDL qualified delivery driver. Applicants MUST possess a current CDL along with a clean driving record to qualify for this position.
Job Description:
CDL Delivery Driver Position Overview:
 The Delivery Driver is responsible for making safe, accurate, and timely deliveries to job sites within Bellingham and the surrounding areas using a variety of CDL required delivery vehicles. This role involves close collaboration with the yard crew and yard managers to ensure that products are properly loaded for each delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Safe Deliveries:
 Operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to job sites, ensuring safety and accuracy. Obey all traffic laws and make deliveries in a safe and on-time manner.
Loading Coordination:
 Work with yard crew and managers to load products as needed for each delivery.
Customer Interaction:
 Maintain a friendly and positive demeanor when interacting with customers, representing the company professionally, and providing excellent customer service, including obtaining signatures and handling complaints.
Solitary Work:
 Perform duties independently, starting early in the morning and working an eight-hour shift.
Overtime Opportunities:
 Potential for overtime due to factors such as traffic, weather, and job site accessibility.
Site Assistance:
 During slower periods, assist in the yard at BMS. Ability to operate all BMS equipment including CDL vehicles and non-CDL Trucks, Forklifts, and Saws.
Unloading:
You will be responsible for unloading or coordinating the unloading of items at the assigned destination.
Transporting Goods:
Drive along optimal routes to deliver items to businesses and/or residences.
Following Safety Regulations:
Adherence to traffic laws and safety protocol is required.
Qualifications:
Valid CDL (A/B) and clean driving record. Ability to operate various delivery vehicles. Proficient with Smart phones and Maps. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Physical ability to load and unload products (40-60 lbs. at times)
Work Environment:
Early morning starts with full eight-hour shifts. Primarily solitary work with occasional yard assistance during slow seasons. Potential for overtime based on delivery conditions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, has strong customer service skills, and is looking for opportunities to earn overtime, with weekends off.

Compensation:
$29 - $32/hr Yearly Discretionary bonus Health insurance covered at 75%, Vision and Dental insurance covered at 99% 401K plan 8 paid holidays Store hours are Monday through Friday, 7am to 5pm (closed weekends) Company events/Bagel Fridays and great SWAG Employee discount
Pay:
$29.00 - $32.00 per hour
