Job Description
ACT 2 Services provides PU&D and linehaul service for the west coast . Through our asset-based operations and solution-oriented service, we can offer custom logistics for each customer. Providing this flexibility drives value to their supply chain. Our current success has come organically over several decades. We began our company in 1985 when our two company founders purchased a location based at SFO. Within just a couple years our company became the premier road feeder service to the air cargo industry between DFW, LAX, SFO, PDX, SEA, YVR and SLC.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Class A Driver in the WA location who should also be willing to drive a box truck if necessary.Full Time Position Pay:
$32Shift:
Mon -Fri 2:00 PM to 10:30PM Minimum Requirements:
Applicant must have at least two years of verifiable Class A tractor trailer driving experience. Possess a current Medical Card. Clean MVR (no more than two traffic violation convictions, and one preventable accident within the past 3 years) Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen. Able to lift 50 lbs. Hazmat preferred but not required.Brief Job Description:
Pickup and delivery of shipments for our customers' location in Seattle WA. Professional, courteous and service oriented. Comply with all DOT and WSP regulations. Preform pre- and post-trip tractor and trailer inspections. Follow company procedures for documentation/signatures for pickups and deliveries. Follow all company safety policies and TSA security requirements. Communicate with dispatch all delays, traffic, mechanical issues. Promptly report all accidents/incidents involving company equipment or freight to management. Keep trucks clean and fueled up. Perform other duties as required and work overtime as assigned.
