In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a 12.5-foot box truck to deliver goods efficiently and reliably to various destinations. Your expertise in commercial driving, manual handling, and customer service will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be an essential part of our delivery operations, supporting our commitment to exceptional service and operational excellence. Responsibilities Safely operate a 12.5-foot box truck, adhering to all traffic laws and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, ensuring safe lifting practices and using lift gate. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes using mobile devices or GPS systems to optimize delivery times Provide excellent customer service by delivering goods accurately and professionally, addressing customer inquiries when necessary Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any maintenance issues promptly Assist with warehouse operations including material handling, moving items within the warehouse, and preparing shipments for delivery Load and secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit, utilizing manual transmission skills when applicable Qualifications Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with warehouse experience and commercial truck driving background Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and box truck experience require. Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles and manual handling techniques Knowledge of DOT regulations, traffic laws, and safety procedures related to commercial driving Ability to lift heavy items safely while following manual handling safety protocols Strong customer service skills with professional communication abilities Experience operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or carts is preferred Deliver pallets to customer warehouses or suites. Safely use lifegate. Ability to work independently with excellent time management skills and attention to detail Join us in delivering excellence!
