General Manager Department:
Employee Services Summary of Position Responsible for safely transporting employees between the Company's properties and additional locations as designated by the General Manager and/or Assistant General Manager, in accordance with Company guidelines. This role requires safe, reliable driving practices and a professional demeanor that reflects the standards of a National Park environment. Responsibilities Transport employees between Company properties and additional locations as designated by the General Manager or assigned leadership members in a safe and efficient manner. Be knowledgeable and helpful to employees regarding shuttle schedules, routes, and available transportation services. Adhere to all applicable traffic laws and the Company driving policies at all times. Strictly follow the Company's lost and found program; document and promptly turn in any items left in the vehicle. Ensure the assigned vehicle is clean, fueled, and in safe working condition before and after each shift; report any mechanical issues or concerns to the Manager immediately. Complete pre-shift and post-shift vehicle inspections using Company Inspection Forms and Vehicle Logs accurately and on time. Communicate proactively with dispatch and management regarding route delays, passenger concerns, or vehicle issues. Understand and comply with the Company's ISO Environmental & Quality management systems, policies, goals and initiatives; fulfill specific responsibilities within these areas. Adhere to the associated Duties Checklist and perform other related duties as assigned. Position Requirements Strong verbal communication skills; ability to interact professionally with employees and management. Demonstrated team player with a positive attitude and collaborative work ethic. Safety-oriented with strict attention to traffic laws, driving conditions, and Company driving policies. Ability to work a flexible schedule including day, evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts. Must provide a clean driving record as verified through an MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) background check. Ability to remain calm and professional in high-traffic or time-sensitive situations. Physical ability to enter/exit the vehicle repeatedly throughout a shift.
Knowledge and Experience Education :
High School Diploma or equivalent required Valid Class C driver's license with a clean driving record required.
Experience :
Minimum six (6) months of professional driving experience required; experience in a transportation role preferred. Prior experience in a hotel, resort, or lodge setting preferred. Resort or National Park Concession experience preferred. Familiarity with two-way radio or dispatch communication systems a plus.
