Job Description
Class A CDL Tractor-Trailer Driver (Day & Night Shifts) Lenz Enterprises is seeking professional, dependable, and experienced Class A CDL Tractor-Trailer Drivers to join our growing team. We are currently hiring for both day and night shift positions . We are looking for drivers with a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and experience operating tractor-trailers. Experience hauling with Live Floor trailers is preferred . This is a local driving position with year-round work . Drivers are home daily and safely transport materials throughout the region. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers with Live Floor trailers in accordance with all state and federal regulations. Safely transport and unload materials using the Live Floor trailer system. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Complete electronic Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs) and other required digital documentation using a mobile device. Maintain accurate driver logs and required DOT documentation. Operate trailer tarp systems as needed. Fuel, wash, and maintain assigned equipment. Drive safely while providing excellent customer service at delivery locations. Requirements Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL). Minimum of two (2) years of tractor-trailer driving experience (or equivalent military experience). Experience operating 18-speed manual transmissions is required and applicants must be able to pass a driving test. Live Floor trailer experience is strongly preferred. Safe driving record. Ability to pass a DOT pre-employment drug screening and meet DOT medical requirements. Must be comfortable using a smartphone or tablet to complete electronic Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs) and other required digital documentation. Ability to perform physical tasks including climbing in and out of equipment, fueling, and washing trucks. Reliable attendance and stable work history. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Flexibility to work assigned day or night shifts and accommodate seasonal business demands. A complete resume with a full employment history is required.
