As our company continues to grow, we're looking for a professional Tow Truck Operator with a valid CDL to join our close-knit crew. Position Summary As a Tow Truck Operator, you'll be the face of our company on the road. You'll safely operate heavy-duty and/or flatbed tow trucks to assist motorists, transport vehicles, and support law enforcement and commercial clients. You'll play a key role in delivering fast, courteous, and dependable service—day or night. Key Responsibilities Operate flatbed and/or heavy-duty tow trucks (Class A CDL Preferred) Tow or transport vehicles involved in accidents, breakdowns, impounds, or relocations Respond to dispatch calls in a timely and professional manner Follow safety protocols and DOT regulations at all times Complete necessary paperwork, including tow tickets and inspection logs Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, law enforcement, and repair facilities Provide roadside assistance (lockouts, jump-starts, tire changes, etc.) as needed Maintain a clean and professional appearance of the truck and equipment Requirements Valid CDL Class A (with clean driving record) Must live in or near the City of Tacoma to maintain strict response times on call. Experience preferred, but we're willing to train the right person Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Strong customer service and communication skills Mechanically inclined and comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions Availability for on-call shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed Physical ability to lift and maneuver equipment and vehicles safely(able to lift minimum 50lbs) Why Work With Us?
