This position is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining our rental equipment, trucks, and trailers while also transporting equipment to and from customer locations as needed. The ideal candidate is dependable, customer-focused, works well as part of a team, and is committed to providing quality service and maintaining safe, reliable equipment Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on rental equipment, trucks, trailers, and other fleet vehicles. Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine issues. Complete inspections to ensure equipment is safe and rental-ready. Maintain accurate service and maintenance records. Safely transport equipment using a CDL as needed. Load and unload equipment following company safety procedures. Respond to service calls and field repairs when required. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment. Qualifications Valid Class A or Class B CDL with a clean driving record. 2+ years of mechanic experience (diesel, heavy equipment, construction equipment, or fleet maintenance preferred). Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, brakes, and trailers. Ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of equipment. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
