Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently to various locations while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and excellent customer service. Duties Operate various types of trucks including flatbed, dump truck, tanker, and roll-off trucks. Drive routes efficiently while ensuring timely delivery of freight. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of materials. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and other required documentation. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Operate forklifts as needed for loading and unloading tasks. Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding transportation. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with the ability to operate manual transmission vehicles. Proven experience in route driving with a strong understanding of freight handling. Ability to operate various truck types including flatbed, dump truck, tanker, and roll-off trucks. Experience with load unloading procedures is preferred. Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety protocols. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Must pass a background check and drug screening as part of the hiring process.
