Job Description

Class B CDL Driver - Dump Truck (Home Every Night) Full-Time $25 - $35 per hour (based on experience) Home Every Night Overtime Available | Year-Round Work About the Position We are hiring a reliable CDL Driver with a primary focus on dump truck operations . The majority of your time will be spent delivering bulk materials such as mulch, soil, gravel, stone, and aggregate to residential and commercial job sites. This role provides consistent hours during the busy season and steady workflow throughout the year. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who is comfortable operating a dump truck, navigating job sites, and working efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This position also offers consistent winter work , including bulk salt hauling and snow operations — no sitting at home waiting for hours. What You'll Do Safely operate Class B dump trucks for daily delivery routes Deliver materials to residential and commercial job sites Perform proper dumping procedures in driveways, job sites, and tight-access areas Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections Maintain delivery tickets, load counts, and route communication Work closely with dispatch to stay on schedule Keep truck clean, safe, and well-maintained Winter Responsibilities Bulk salt pickup and deliveries to job sites and storage locations Snow removal operations including plowing and salting (as needed) Equipment readiness and storm response Additional Opportunities Assisting in the yard (loading materials, staging deliveries) Operating skid steer or loader (if experienced) Supporting landscape crews when needed Basic shop work including servicing and maintaining fleet trucks and equipment (oil changes, greasing, minor repairs, general upkeep) Pay & Benefits $25 - $35 per hour (based on experience) Overtime opportunities during peak season Consistent hours during spring, summer, and fall Reliable winter income with salt hauling and snow work Home every night — no overnight travel Year-round earning potential Opportunity to expand skills into equipment and fleet maintenance Growth opportunities within company operations
Performance Review:
60-day probationary period to evaluate driving record, reliability, and performance Pay increase opportunities for drivers who exceed expectations Requirements Valid CDL (Class B required) Class A CDL preferred, but not required Clean driving record Ability to pass DOT requirements Two years of experience operating a quad-axle dump truck preferred Comfortable backing, dumping, and working in tight residential areas Ability to lift 50+ lbs Strong work ethic and reliability Preferred Experience Landscape supply or construction delivery experience Skid steer or loader operation Basic mechanical or shop experience Knowledge of local routes and job site logistics Snow plowing experience Why Work With Us?
