Job Description
Position Summary Hotline Freight is seeking a safe, reliable, and professional Class A CDL Line Haul Driver to transport freight between terminals and customer locations during overnight hours. The ideal candidate is committed to safety, on-time deliveries, and providing excellent service while maintaining compliance with all DOT regulations. Class A CDL Linehaul Driver - Hazmat Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operate a Class A commercial vehicle in a safe and efficient manner. Transport freight between terminals and designated destinations according to scheduled linehaul routes. Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of equipment. Ensure freight is properly secured and handled to prevent damage. Complete and maintain all required logs, inspection reports, and shipping documentation. Adhere to all DOT, FMCSA, company safety policies, and traffic laws. Report vehicle maintenance issues, accidents, or delays promptly. Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations personnel. Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude when interacting with customers and team members. Qualifications Valid Class
A CDL. 3
Years Experience Required Acceptable driving record and ability to meet DOT requirements. Current DOT medical card. Minimum age of 24 years. Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check. Previous linehaul or LTL experience preferred. Ability to work independently and safely during overnight hours. Physical Requirements Frequently enter and exit tractor. Ability to lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds occasionally. Ability to sit and drive for extended periods.
