Johnson Tractor is looking for a dependable, customer-focused Semi-Truck Driver/Service Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for safely transporting new and used equipment—including agricultural, compact construction, and outdoor power equipment—while supporting equipment setup, preventative maintenance, and dealership operations. If you enjoy operating commercial vehicles, working with agricultural equipment, and providing outstanding customer service, we'd like to hear from you. ​
What You'll Do:
​ Transport new and used equipment to customers, dealership locations, and manufacturer facilities. Deliver sold equipment and provide customers with a professional delivery experience. Safely load, secure, transport, and unload equipment. Perform equipment setup and pre-delivery preparation. Complete preventative maintenance on equipment as assigned. Inspect and maintain assigned trucks and trailers. Maintain accurate transportation and inspection records. Participate in manufacturer training and ongoing professional development. ​
Required:
Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Clean, insurable driving record Ability to meet all DOT requirements Strong commitment to safety Basic mechanical aptitude Excellent communication and customer service skills
Preferred:
Experience transporting agricultural or heavy equipment Agricultural equipment operating experience Previous dealership or equipment industry experience Combination of highway driving, dealership locations, customer farms, and outdoor work environments Part-time, approximately 3 days per week (Workdays and hours are flexible and will be scheduled between Monday and Friday, 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., based on business needs and seasonal demands. Occasional Saturday hours (7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.) may be required.) Occasional overnight travel based on delivery schedules Hands-on position working with agricultural equipment in varying weather conditions
