Secure Shredding Associate

Job Overview Join our team as a Secure Shredding Associate and play a vital role in safeguarding sensitive information through efficient and secure document destruction. In this position, you will operate shredding machinery to ensure confidential materials are properly processed as well as run our weekly confidential materials pickup route. Your proactive approach will contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant environment, supporting our commitment to data security and environmental responsibility. Responsibilities Operate our paper shredder to shred confidential documents. Operate our 26' box truck to run our weekly Wednesday confidential material pickup route. Manage the loading and unloading of shredding materials with precision and safety awareness Conduct routine cleaning and sanitation of work areas to ensure a safe and tidy environment Assist with the maintenance and inspection of shredding machinery to ensure optimal performance Perform heavy lifting tasks safely when moving large quantities of paper or debris Follow all safety guidelines and procedures during equipment operation and sanitation activities Skills Experience operating larger size vehicles Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently Strong attention to detail for cleaning, sanitation, and equipment maintenance tasks Excellent safety awareness and adherence to operational protocols Effective communication skills for teamwork and safety procedures Requirements Must have a valid drivers license Must be able to pass a drug screening Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check. Candidates with disqualifying criminal convictions related to theft/fraud within the past 7 years may not be eligible for this position Due to the professional and security-sensitive nature of this position, employees are expected to maintain a neat, professional appearance consistent with company standards. CDL not required

Pay:

$21.00 - $23.00 per hour
