Job Description
```Duties```
- Safely operate various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and tanker trucks.
- Load and unload cargo or materials using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or cranes.
- Transport freight to designated locations in a timely manner.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.
- Communicate with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules. ```Qualifications```
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of truck being operated.
- Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably with experience in multiple types of trucks.
- Ability to safely operate different types of trucks and equipment, including tractor-trailers, dump trucks, forklifts, roll-off trucks, refrigerated trailers, and tankers.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
- Excellent driving record with no major violations or accidents.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks related to loading and unloading cargo.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel long distances if necessary.
