Job Description
Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating dump trucks to transport materials such as asphalt, gravel, dirt, debris, and other bulk loads to various job sites. Your expertise in truck driving, route management, and load handling will ensure efficient deliveries and uphold our commitment to safety and quality service. This position offers an exciting opportunity for drivers who thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in their work. Responsibilities Operate dump trucks with manual transmission. Load and unload materials accurately using appropriate equipment. Drive along designated routes, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations at all times Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and proper functioning of all systems Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues promptly Assist in the setup and securement of loads Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record and fed med certifcate. Proven experience operating dump trucks, tractor-trailers, or roll-off trucks in a commercial setting Familiarity with manual transmission driving and truck safety protocols Ability to load & unload freight efficiently using forklifts or other material handling equipment Knowledge of route driving best practices, including navigation and time management skills Join our team if you're passionate about safe driving, delivering quality service, and working in a collaborative environment.
