The ideal candidate will have experience operating Dump Trucks or large Trucks and will be responsible for transporting materials to and from construction sites. This role requires a strong understanding of safety operations and the ability to work in various weather conditions while adhering to safety protocols on road and off. Experience in the construction field a plus! Responsibilities Safely operate dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, sand, and soil to construction sites. Collaborate with construction teams to ensure timely delivery of materials. Perform routine inspections on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition. Learning to Operate additional heavy equipment as skill is acquired, including water trucks, loaders, backhoes, bobcats, and bulldozers. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the truck and at the job site. Follow all safety regulations and protocols while on-site to prevent accidents and injuries. Communicate effectively with site managers and other team members regarding material needs and delivery schedules. Qualifications Ability to operate a manual transmission with double clutch operations. Proven experience as a Dump Truck Driver or in a similar role within the construction industry. Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation. Familiarity with various types of heavy machinery including Caterpillar equipment, loaders, backhoes, graders, and bulldozers is preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team setting. Willingness to work flexible hours as needed based on project demands.
