Direct Hire Location:
Madison, WI Pay Rate:
$27.50•$30.00 per hour + Time and a half after 40 Class B | $27.50/hr. Class A | $30/hr.
Schedule:
Monday•Friday | 6 AM Start | 8-10 hour days

Responsibilities Operate a CDL A or B flatbed Tilt bed load securement Haul lumber Touch freight Unload with a Moffett/piggy back forklift Driving Requirements 22+ years of age Valid CDL-A or B license DOT Medical Card FMCSA Clearinghouse registered and clear MVR 1 year CDL flatbed experience (within the past 3 years) No more than 3 moving violations/at-fault accidents (within the past 3 years) No DUI, reckless driving, or serious violations (within the past 5 years) Benefits vary by client and are confirmed at the time of offer.

You will perform vehicle inspections, maintain required documentation, communicate with dispatch or customers as needed, and help ensure deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and on time while maintaining a professional appearance and commitment to customer service. The CDL Driver is responsible for operating vehicles safely while transporting products and materials according to established schedules and delivery requirements. This position requires sound judgment, strong driving skills, and a commitment to protecting people, cargo, and equipment. Successful CDL Driver candidates understand the importance of vehicle inspections, transportation safety, and maintaining accurate records throughout the delivery process. Adaptability and professionalism help drivers respond effectively to changing road conditions and customer needs. This role provides an opportunity to work independently while supporting reliable transportation and logistics operations.
