Overview Join our dynamic team as a local Class A CDL Driver, where your driving skills and dedication will keep essential products moving efficiently locally. We prioritize safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction in every mile driven. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial vehicles including tractor-trailers, deliver freight across designated local routes Load and unload cargo efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or manual methods, ensuring proper handling and securement of goods Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records in accordance with federal and state laws Follow planned routes diligently while adapting to traffic conditions to meet delivery schedules Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly Uphold safety standards by adhering to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols during every trip Experience Proven experience in truck driving or commercial delivery roles, ideally with familiarity in route driving Hands-on experience operating various types of trucks such as tractor-trailers or box trucks Ability to handle freight load & unload procedures efficiently using equipment like forklifts or manual techniques Knowledge of trucking regulations including hours of service (HOS), safety standards, and vehicle maintenance requirements Comfortable working with manual transmissions and operating specialized equipment as needed Prior experience of 3 years with a clean driving record Strong commitment to safety practices and customer service excellence Background/driving record checked We are excited to welcome motivated drivers who are passionate about delivering essential products safely and efficiently.
