Haas, Inc. is hiring Seasonal Redi-Mix Truck Drivers to support our concrete operations throughout the construction season. This full-time seasonal position typically runs April through November and offers an opportunity to work with an experienced team delivering quality concrete to residential, commercial, and municipal projects. Position Overview The Redi-Mix Driver is responsible for transporting and delivering ready-mix concrete safely and efficiently while providing outstanding customer service. Drivers inspect and maintain their equipment, communicate with dispatch and job site personnel, and ensure each load is delivered accurately and on schedule. This position requires safe driving practices, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a physically demanding outdoor environment. Essential Responsibilities Transport ready-mix concrete to customer job sites while operating company equipment safely. Verify delivery information and ensure concrete meets customer specifications before unloading. Maintain communication with dispatch throughout the workday regarding deliveries and scheduling. Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance or repair concerns promptly. Complete routine truck maintenance, including fueling, greasing, washing, checking fluids, and cleaning the mixer drum. Accurately complete delivery tickets, inspection reports, and other required documentation. Provide professional customer service while interacting with contractors, homeowners, and job site personnel. Follow all company safety policies as well as DOT, state, and federal transportation regulations. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-maintained truck inside and out. Operate hand tools and assist with routine yard, plant, or shop duties when work volume allows. Collect customer payments when required and ensure proper handling of all documentation. Perform additional duties that support daily operations and business needs. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License with Air Brake endorsement required. Current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate (Fed Med Card) required. Previous commercial driving or construction industry experience is helpful but not required. Strong commitment to safe work practices and dependable attendance. Ability to communicate effectively with dispatch, coworkers, and customers. Willingness to work overtime and extended hours during the busy construction season. Physical Requirements This position regularly requires employees to: Lift and carry materials weighing up to 75 pounds. Climb ladders and steps while entering and exiting equipment. Bend, kneel, reach, twist, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the day. Sit and operate a commercial vehicle for extended periods. Clean mixer drums using water, shovels, scrapers, and other cleaning tools. Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, dust, and noise. Safely work around concrete products, heavy equipment, and moving vehicles.
Pay:
$24.00 - $27.00 per hour
