Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Truck Driver and take charge of delivering freight efficiently and safely across various routes. This energetic role involves operating a variety of trucks, including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks. You will be the face of our company on the road, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Duties Operate different types of trucks such as tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks to transport freight efficiently. Load and unload cargo safely using appropriate equipment like forklifts when necessary. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations. Follow designated routes and schedules diligently while adapting to route changes as needed. Secure freight properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit. Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle maintenance records. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues promptly. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with endorsements for manual transmission operation and specific truck types (e.g., tanker, flatbed). Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery route driving and freight handling. Familiarity with operating various truck types such as tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks. Ability to load & unload freight safely using manual methods or forklift equipment when applicable. Strong knowledge of safety procedures related to commercial driving and cargo securement. Excellent navigation skills with a focus on route planning and adherence to traffic laws. Physical ability to perform load & unload tasks and handle long hours on the road.
