Dump Truck Driver/Equipment Operator

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and experienced Dump Truck Driver/Equipment Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy machinery and hauling materials across construction sites to ensure efficient project progress. Duties Operate dump trucks, excavators, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dozers, and other heavy equipment with precision and safety. Transport construction materials such as gravel, dirt, and debris to and from job sites efficiently. Assist with site preparation, grading, paving, horizontal drilling, and tanker operations as needed. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and perform basic maintenance or report issues promptly. Follow all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and team members. Collaborate with supervisors and crew members to coordinate tasks and optimize workflow on the construction site. Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, material deliveries, and safety inspections. Requirements Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment including dump trucks, excavators (Caterpillar preferred), dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, horizontal drilling rigs, tankers, and paving machinery. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor equipment issues and performing routine maintenance. Strong understanding of construction site safety practices and regulations. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining high safety standards. Familiarity with construction processes such as grading, paving, excavation, and horizontal drilling is highly desirable. Prior experience working on construction sites with heavy equipment operation is preferred. $25.00 - $30.50 per hour
