Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and reliable CDL-A Truck Driver to join our team in, WI. This full-time position involves local deliveries with a focus on safety, efficiency, and excellent customer service. The driver will operate day cabs hauling dry van freight on a daily home time schedule, providing consistent and predictable work hours. The role offers flexible start times and days, making it an ideal opportunity for drivers seeking a stable local driving position with no touch freight. Responsibilities Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle (Day Cab) to transport dry van freight within the local area. Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to ensure safe delivery and transportation of goods. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and hours worked in accordance with DOT regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to coordinate deliveries and pickups. Adhere to scheduled start times, which may be 5AM, 6AM, 8AM, 10AM, or 4PM, based on assigned shifts. Work scheduled days from Tuesday through Saturday or Sunday through Thursday, depending on the assigned shift. Ensure cargo is handled properly with no touch freight involved in daily operations. Requirements Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) with clean driving record. Proven experience operating Day Cabs for local deliveries preferred but not mandatory. Ability to work flexible start times and scheduled days as outlined (Tuesday - Saturday or Sunday - Thursday). Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations related to commercial driving. Excellent communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions. Physical ability to perform vehicle inspections and handle the demands of local driving routes.
