Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and responsible CDL Class A Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be the vital link between our company and our customers, ensuring timely, safe, and efficient delivery of freight within local routes. Your expertise in driving and handling freight will help us maintain our reputation for reliability and customer satisfaction. Duties Safely operate a tractor-trailer or Box truck as needed, following all safety regulations and company policies Load and unload freight using manual handling techniques or forklift when necessary, ensuring proper securing of cargo Deliver freight to multiple local destinations on scheduled routes, maintaining punctuality and professionalism throughout each shift Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure optimal safety and compliance with DOT regulations Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including bills of lading and route logs, while utilizing onboard technology for real-time tracking Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly Adhere to all traffic laws, safety standards, and company policies during route driving Qualifications Valid CDL Class A license with hazmat certification along with a clean driving record Forklift Experience Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver experience with route driving responsibilities Ability to handle freight safely during load & unload operations using forklifts or manual methods Knowledge of DOT regulations related to commercial driving, hours of service, and safety standards Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive safety mindset 3 Years Experience Join us as a CDL Class A Local LTL Delivery Driver to be part of a dynamic team committed to excellence in transportation.
