Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Class A and B Tanker Drivers to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating tanker trucks and other commercial vehicles to transport liquids across designated routes. Your expertise in truck driving, route planning, and vehicle maintenance will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dedicated team committed to excellence in logistics and customer service. Duties Safely operate Class A or B liquid tanker trucks. Load and unload cargo efficiently. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety, including checking brakes, tires, lights, and fluid levels. Follow designated routes diligently, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure on-time deliveries. Maintain accurate bill of ladings, delivery documentation, and compliance records in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules or any issues encountered during routes. Assist with vehicle maintenance by reporting mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime. Skills Ability to drive commercial vehicles such as tractor-trailers or straight trucks with a focus on safety and efficiency. Valid Class A or B commercial driver's license (CDL) with endorsements for tankers. Strong knowledge of manual transmission operation and proficiency in handling various truck types. Ability to load & unload safely. Excellent route driving skills with a focus on time management and route optimization. Physical ability to perform duties that may include lifting heavy hoses, climbing into trucks, or working in varying weather conditions.
