Duties Operate a variety of trucks and trailers , flatbed , sand chassis , hoppers and water transports . Load and unload materials at designated sites Following all safety procedures. Drive route schedules confidently while adhering to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues before departure. Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and incident reports throughout each shift. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel to coordinate deliveries and address any logistical challenges promptly. Ensure all cargo is secured properly during transit to prevent accidents or damage. Requirements Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on commercial driving, including tractor-trailer operations. Familiarity with operating manual transmission vehicles and various trailer types such as flatbed, tanker, sand chassis or roll-off trucks. Delivery driver experience preferred, especially in industrial or construction environments involving freight handling. Ability to follow directions and use CB communication. Strong knowledge of route driving practices with excellent navigation skills. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with necessary endorsements for different vehicle types.
