Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a CDL Dump Truck Driver and play a vital role in delivering materials efficiently and safely across various job sites. This energetic position offers the opportunity to operate heavy-duty dump trucks, contribute to large-scale projects, and ensure timely transportation of construction materials. Responsibilities Safely operate dump trucks with a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL), ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and company policies Transport construction materials such as gravel, dirt, asphalt, and other bulk supplies to designated sites efficiently and on schedule Perform routine inspections of the dump truck before and after shifts, checking mechanical systems, brakes, tires, and fluid levels to maintain optimal operation Assist with loading and unloading materials using heavy equipment like excavators, loaders, backhoes, graders, dozers, or water trucks when necessary Collaborate with construction crews to coordinate deliveries and ensure materials are delivered precisely where needed for paving, grading, horizontal drilling, or other construction activities Maintain accurate logs of daily trips, material loads, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance reports Conduct basic mechanical troubleshooting or minor repairs to keep trucks in top condition and minimize downtime Requirements Valid CDL license with a clean driving record; experience operating dump trucks in a construction environment is highly preferred Strong mechanical knowledge to perform routine inspections and minor repairs on heavy equipment and trucks Experience operating heavy machinery such as excavators, loaders, dozers, graders, backhoes, water trucks, or horizontal drilling equipment is a plus Proven background working on construction sites with familiarity in construction processes like paving or tanker operations Ability to operate Caterpillar or similar heavy equipment safely and efficiently Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and transportation within construction zones Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and site managers effectively Embark on an energetic career path where your skills drive progress! Pay:
$24.48 - $28.00 per hour
