Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Class A Driver.. This role requires proficiency in operating different types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, and dump trucks. The driver will haul equipment to and from job sites and haul asphalt to the jobs from asphalt plants. when working out-of-town, we pay hotel costs and a daily perdiem. Responsibilities Operate tractor trailer and/or dump trucks. Execute route driving efficiently while maintaining compliance with traffic laws and regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and reliability. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery times, and vehicle maintenance records. Our company uses electronic logs for accuracy. Adhere to all company policies regarding safety practices and procedures. Drive manual transmission vehicles if needed. Pass drug test and be part of a consortium for our drug testing program. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required. Proven experience in truck driving with a strong understanding of route driving. Familiarity with operating various types of trucks including but not limited to tractor-trailer and dump trucks. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Strong attention to detail with excellent time management skills. Ability to work as part of a team. Must pass a background check and drug screening prior to employment.
