Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent . A minimum of 1 year of experience. Class A/B Commercial License. IMSA Traffic Signal Technician Level 2 certification. Drug Testing/Screening, Background and Motor Vehicle Record Checks are performed.
Job Responsibilities:
Coordinates traffic signal installation and signal improvement projects. Programs, maintains and repairs traffic signal control units and associate system components and control and/or associated monitoring equipment. Programs, maintains and repairs flashing school zone sign controls. Programs, maintains and repairs Closed Circuit Television equipment and associated system components. Installs commun ic ations including but not limited t o radio , fiber optics and twisted pair . Coordinates utility projects involving signalized intersections. Coordinates traffic signal and electrical supply inventory with project manager and job superintendents. Programs and maintain advanced loop systems, including Bluetooth , infrared, traditional loop, and radio. O perates a motor vehicle for the purpose of inspecting traffic signal installations and other related projects. Maintains appropriate and accurate records of work performed.
