Job Description

Talascend is currently seeking an Instrumentation Coordinator for a contract opportunity with our client in Allen Park, Michigan . Overview The Instrumentation Coordinator supports new build instrumentation, performs walk-around inspections, and works with bill of materials. They oversee vehicle setup for testing and collaborate with technicians and floor leaders to ensure successful instrumentation installations and continuous process improvements. Responsibilities Supporting new build installations Performing walk-around inspections to ensure builds meet specifications Working with bill of materials to understand build requirements Conducting engineering interactions and overseeing vehicle testing setup Interacting with technicians and floor leaders to review and improve instrumentation practices Reporting build statuses to supervisors regularly to track milestones Collaborating with team members to optimize installation tasks and practices Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 2 years of experience in an automotive technician or instrumentation installation role Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Ability to organize and track multiple vehicle build information Good attention to detail Self-starter, self-motivated, and willing to learn Preferred Qualifications Associates degree Prototype vehicle experience Knowledge of automotive wire harness installation practices State/ASE certifications We thank all applicants for their interest.
